I'm almost done with take 2 of the V.C.   Only 5 more boning channels to go, then cut the spirals.  (always a pita.)
Hopefully I'll have it ready to try on tonight.  *crosses fingers*  I'm getting anxious to see if the changes I made will work!

Side note:
I've got a place holder blog over at insanejournal, just in case L.J. goes bye,bye.

My father-in-law gave me these great cutters for my spiral (and spring) steel - they use them for cutting the wires used on decks or balustrades - so pretty heavy duty - and they just chomp through the steel so easily.....my first couple of attempts with just plain steel cutters were really challenging.....

What I wouldn't give for a pair of those! The ones I've got aren't any good at all! Had to enlist the man to do the hard work.
